We present in this article one hidden gem out of all famous Quang Nam tourist destinations - Tien An Bat cave.

Bat Cave is located in village 3, Tien An commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province and is only about 35 km from Tam Ky city.

This place is blessed with the pristine landscape and the wildness that remains intact as if centuries, millennia have not changed. Many people also compare the magnificent beauty of this land to the Vietnamese version of Jurassic Park. Everyone was surprised to see with their own eyes the beauty of this place that seems to have been forgotten by time.

A small note to keep in mind is that if you don't know the way, don't use Google Map because it's not accurate, so asking the locals for directions is your best bet. This is when you should consider going with a tour guide who knows the area well.

Another beautiful attraction to check out is the dam nearby. Its specific location is at the end of a small concrete road after running over an iron bridge and looking to the right, then keep going straight. Don't be afraid to ask people nearby because you will be guided or even get to enjoy a free tour.

At the start of your backpacking trips to Bat Cave, park your bikes by the foot of hill, then climb Eo Bo slope and walk for an hour to get there.

The road to the cave is quite challenging but not too dangerous. With hills and mountains, and the steep slopes go up and down creating a poetic landscape picture, you will be spoiled for choice in the sight of rivers, streams, cool mountains and forests. The cold mixed with the chirping of birds makes it even more exciting.

Although formed millions of years ago, but this place still retains its original wild features to this day with green hills of all levels with the presence of bushes, interspersed with a few black rocky outcrops.

You will be amazed when witnessing the large upright rocks lying along the path, reaching high above the blue sky, obscuring the view. Therefore, even though the deeper you go into the cave, the colder the air, you can feel your heartbeat like a drum.

On both sides of the cave wall, groundwater over the years gradually seeps into small slits and then seeps through the moist soil layer, creating a pleasant cool atmosphere.
