USA Today: The 6th Blue Zone Found In Vietnam
Ecovillage Saigon River, located 18 kilometers east of Notre Dame Cathedral in the eastern part of Ho Chi Minh City, has recently constructed the first six-star resort in Vietnam, Ecovillage Saigon River, in keeping with its development philosophy and raising the bar for product excellence.
The Ecovillage Saigon River is a 55-hectare development with 32 hectares of water, a 15 percent overall construction density, and 4 hectares of parkland. The Saigon River Ecovillage will emphasize medical and therapeutic care. The emphasis on individuals is a defining characteristic of this framework.
Nature not only provides for human survival but also surrounds, heals, and rejuvenates us with every breath and step. The tree-hugging park, the organic forest kitchen, the negative ion forest, the sound garden, the outdoor sports center, the herb garden, and the riverside macrobiotic restaurant all contribute to a sense of inner calm and physical well-being.

According to USA Today, Ecovillage Saigon River is the first Blue Zones real estate development in Vietnam and, once completed, is expected to become the next Blue Zones in the world as a result of Ecopark's collaboration with legendary global partners such as Japan and Singapore to create truly exceptional designs.
Ecopark is one of the most well-known and successful real estate brands in Vietnam. Ecovillage Saigon River has been a tremendous success since its introduction to the market, along with the first photographs. Both domestic and international media outlets are eagerly awaiting the revelation of new, useful information regarding this project, such as the handover and completion schedule.
The founder of Ecopark finances the almost 500-hectare green metropolis of Ecopark, which is located 14 kilometers from Hoan Kiem Lake. The initiative boasts remarkable statistics such as a tree density of 120 trees per individual, an area of over 100 hectares devoted to trees and water, and the largest network of four-season parks in Northern Vietnam.
Awards such as "Asia's Best Sustainable Housing Development Project" in 2022, "Asia-Pacific's Leading Urban Complex" in 2020, and "Urban Area with the Best Scenery Design in the World" in 2015 demonstrate the global significance of the project.

The "lighted windows" philosophy of Ecopark at night, which aims to create a tranquil, close-knit living environment of the highest quality for residents, has enticed millions of people to leave the dense urban core in pursuit of a more civilized and cohesive society. Those of middle age and older who intend to make this area their permanent residence can participate in daily exercise and join one of the many available clubs, which include poetry, walking, yoga, fishing, chess, and others.
What is “Blue Zone”?Blue Zones is based on the work of demographic researchers Gianni Pes and Michel Poulain, who published their findings in 2004. The Nuoro province of Sardinia (Italy) was identified as the region with the highest population of men, which led them to name the region "Blue Zones.” Dan Buettner, an American explorer and journalist who has written for the New York Times, added more regions to the Blue Zone. The list was expanded, and the Blue Zones then included four additional locations: Okinawa, Japan; Nicoya, Costa Rica; Icaria, Greece; and Loma Linda, California, United States. Dan Buettner discovered four out of five of these Blue Zones are located on peninsulas with stunning natural scenery and a healthy environment supporting human preservation. People there are also known for their long lifespan, communal living, emphasis on outdoor activities, and focus on maintaining a healthy diet. Throughout the globe, there are five designated "Blue Zones"—regions where people enjoy a high standard of living and a healthy life span due to their close proximity to nature. One progressive Vietnamese investor has announced his plans to implement a Blue Zones real estate model in the country, hence introducing to the world a new addition to the “Blue Zones.” |
