Vienam Covid-19: More urgent calling on passengers on seven international flights
The Ministry of Health issued an urgent notice on March 25 morning on seven flights landing in Vietnam with passengers testing positive for the novel coronavirus. |
The announcement was made following detection of COVID-19 patients on these flights:
Flight EK364 of Emirates Airlines from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 15,2020;
Flight SU290 of Aeroflot from Moscow to Hanoi on March 15, 2020;
Flight TG560 of Thai Airways from Bangkok to Hanoi on March 15, 2020;
Flight BI 381 of Royal Brunei Airlines from Brunei to Ho Chi Minh City on March 17,2020;
Flight EK392 of Emirates Airlines from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 19,2020;
Flight NH831 of All Nippon Airways (ANA) from Japan to Ho Chi Minh City on March 19,2020;
Flight JL751 of Japan Airlines from Tokyo to Hanoi on March 20,2020;
Booking offices shall also be responsible for informing the passengers on the aforesaid flights. The MoH is now contacting passengers and crew who may have been exposed on those flights, calling on them to contact disease control centres of cities and provinces for guidance on health monitoring.
