The cultural cooperation program between the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Chilean Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Heritage for the period 2024-2026 aims to further implement the Declaration of Intent on cultural cooperation between the Governments of Vietnam and Chile, signed in 2006.

This program serves as a foundation to deepen the cultural cooperation relationship between the two countries, advancing the Comprehensive Partnership towards greater depth, substance, and effectiveness, and working towards elevating the relationship in the future.

The main contents of the Cultural Cooperation Program include strengthening cultural cooperation and exchanges between the two countries, promoting the development of creative culture through the exchange of artists, and cultural experts, and the sharing of expertise, knowledge, and information in various cultural fields. Additionally, it involves cooperation in establishing networks within the cultural and creative industries of Vietnam and Chile, as well as providing arts training at various educational levels.

In recent years, Vietnam and Chile have organized various cultural exchange activities. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has supported the Chilean Embassy in Vietnam in promoting Chilean culture through activities such as film screenings, painting and photography exhibitions, including the Chilean Ceramic Wall on the Ceramic Road along the Red River dyke, the Latin American Film Festival in Vietnam, Chilean Film Week, and the Pacific Alliance Film Festival.

Shortly, the two countries will continue to exchange, coordinate, and seek opportunities to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture and art to Chilean friends, bringing the image of Vietnam and its people closer and more familiar to the Chilean public.
