Vietnam Coast Guard Joins Forces with Philippine Coast Guard in Naval Exchange

Vice Admiral Arnaldo M Lim, Director of the Center for Tactical Research and International Cooperation, Philippine Coast Guard, presided over the welcoming ceremony of ship CSB 8002 in a solemn atmosphere, demonstrating the friendly and close cooperation between two sides.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Admiral Arnaldo M Lim said that this visit and exchange of CSB 8002 and the Vietnam Coast Guard Delegation in the Philippines highlighted and deepened the relationship between the two countries in general and between the Philippine Coast Guard and the Vietnam Coast Guard in particular. This is a testament to the trust and cooperation that has shaped the relationship between the two sides over the years.

In response, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Quoc Dat thanked the warm welcome given by the country and the people of the Philippines in general, the Philippine Coast Guard in particular toship CSB 8002 and the Vietnam Coast Guard delegates. He hoped that this special occasion willbe an opportunity for officers and employees of the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard to exchange and learn about all aspects of work in the process of performing their duties, especially in the field of maritime law enforcement.
