"Vietnam Experience" was organized by the Vietnamese Embassy, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Czech Republic and the Town Hall of Prague district 3 in Praha on May 21st.

This was one of activities to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnamese-Czech diplomatic relation and was one of the main activities of the "Vietnam Cultural Year in Czech".

At the festival, about 40 stalls displaying and introducing Vietnam’s handicrafts and canned food. In addition, the festival also had stalls to serve fresh Vietnamese food and juice, which are favouristed by visitors.

Besides, the introduction of folk songs, traditional music, the traditional Ao Dai, ethnic minority costumes of Vietnam also attracted the attention of large participants.

"The aim of the festival is to help Czech people to discover and experience a part of the natural beauty, traditions and culture of Vietnam through the expression of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic. The community has a high level of integration into the local society, contributing positively to the Czech Republic as well as preserving and developing national culture and persify,” said Vietnamese Ambassador to Czech Republic, Truong Manh Son.

The festival attracted nearly 3,000 visitors./.
