Vietnam gave 80.000 face masks as gifts to Cambodian People's Party and Vietnamese-born

On March 24 morning, a ceremony held in Moc Bai - Bavet border gate as Vietnam's Central Party Commission for External Relations presented face masks to departments of the Cambodian People's Party.
As reported by VOV, at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Vietnam Embassy to Cambodia First Secretary, on behalf of the Central Party Commission for External Relations handed over 50.000 face masks to the Cambodian representative, Mr. Kem Sambath, member of the CPP Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the CPP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.
These masks were presents provided by Vietnam's Central Party Commission for External Relations to join hand with Cambodia in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, in the context that Cambodia is going through the worst community outbreak.

Mr. Kem Sambath expressed his sincere thanks towards the precious affections and supports from Vietnam to Cambodia. He spoke highly of the two countries' neighbor relations, which have always witnessed solidarity and mutual assistance, especially the brotherly and blood-bonding relations between the two Parties.
Since the pandemic first outbreak, Vietnam's Party, Government, and all-level authorities have held many present ceremonies for Cambodia, including a variety of medical supplies, protective equipment, food to support Cambodia in the fight against the pandemic.
On this occasion, Vietnam's Central Party Commission for External Relations also sent the Vietnamese community in Cambodia 30.000 face masks so that they can positively contribute to the Cambodian government and people's preventive effort against the pandemic
