The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2020 will take place from October 25-27 at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh emphasized that the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2020 was determined to be a highlight when Vietnam assumed the ASEAN Chairmanship role in 2020 and the non-permanent UN Security Council member for 2020-2021 term. This is an opportunity to promote the technological capability, weapons and equipment manufactured by Vietnam, creating trust among the people, the military and international friends about the potential of Vietnam's defense industry. The successful organization of the exhibition will create a premise to organize defense exhibitions in Vietnam in the following years.
The Deputy Defence Minister asked the relevant agencies and units to continue coordinating in the preparation work, ensuring the security, safety and efficiency of the exhibition.
