Vietnam has been named in a shortlist of world-leading countries in terms of safety amid COVID-19 pandemic by Hong-Kong-based Deep Knowledge Group (DKG).

The study of the consortium group unveils the new COVID-19 related list, ranking various countries in terms of their safety and risk worldwide with Vietnam being placed on the 20th.

Vietnam is also one of a few countries named in the list following Taiwan and Singapore, which are ranked 7th and 8th respectively.

Vietnam has been praised by international media by its great efforts in fighting the COVID-19. It was also cited on laprensalatina by Eric San Juan that with limited resources, Vietnam sought to preempt the COVID-19 pandemic using preventive measures such as mass quarantines and comprehensive tracking of possible causes, which has helped it to contain the number of confirmed cases to 268 with no deaths, among 198 recovered so far.

Israel leads the group with the best performance in handling the crisis thanks to its experience, according to DKG. The Middle East country has 12,855 cases of coronavirus.

According to DKG’s research, the UK didn’t feature at all in the top 40, while the US came in the seventieth place.

Germany, China, and South Korea led to treatment efficiency while Germany, the U.S., and Japan were the most supportive governments.

The list ranks countries according to general safety and long term stability and gives an idea of which countries’ citizens have the lowest likelihood of being infected, along with the lowest chance of COVID-19 mortality, and the highest likelihoods of recovery and positive health outcomes.

The countries were evaluated by taking into account numerous specific parameters, such as the timeline of restrictive measures that were introduced in the examined countries, how strict these are, travel restrictions, the scope of diagnostics, testing efficiency, and how well the hospitals are equipped.

Deep Knowledge Group is a Hong-Kong investment capital firm owned by a Moscow-based businessman named Dmitry Kaminsky, with business interests in the fintech, blockchain, and “longevity” industries. Kaminsky is a major investor, alongside the Russian government, in Russia’s flourishing longevity industry, which seeks to postpone the effects of human aging.
