The forum was organized by Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Hanoi and the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Saudi Arabia).
The forum was attended by nearly 500 delegates, including leaders of ministries, localities, investors, businesses, representatives of organizations, and business associations of both sides. Among them, there are over 50 businesses from Saudi Arabia operating in many fields such as energy, information technology, iron and steel industry, mining, industrial spare parts, construction, investment, healthcare, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, tourism, natural resources, human resources, transportation, retail, furniture, garments, agriculture, fisheries, and information technology.
This is the largest business delegation from Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East region in general to Vietnam to explore cooperation and business opportunities with Vietnamese localities and businesses.
The forum also has an area to display strong export products of Vietnamese businesses and localities.
After the plenary opening session and the signing ceremony of cooperation documents, the forum will go on with business connection activities including business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-local (B2P) dialogue sessions.
