Vietnamese Agricultural Products Gain Traction at UAE Supermarket
The program organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in the UAE in collaboration with the Lulu supermarket system from September 12 to September 22, taking place simultaneously at three of Lulu's hypermarkets in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Lulu's entire system of large and small supermarkets in the UAE will also promote the sale of Vietnamese products on this occasion.
With nearly 100 agricultural products and food products introduced throughout the supermarket and Vietnam's own food stall, this is the largest and longest-lasting promotion of Vietnamese exports in the UAE.
In addition to members of the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE, representatives of senior leaders of the Lulu Group and a large number of Vietnamese expatriates in the UAE also attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Manh Tuan emphasized that Vietnam has a number of favorable conditions to supply the international market with seafood and agricultural products such as vegetables and fruits, and dried food, especially tropical fruits.
Ambassador Nguyen Manh Tuan said that this program reflects the wishes and efforts of the Embassy and Lulu supermarket in promoting tropical fruits, vegetables, seafood, and other agricultural products of Vietnam to the UAE market in particular and the GCC regional market in general. It also acts as a bridge to help Vietnamese businesses approach and connect with regional partners and consumers. The Embassy believes that this festival contributes to further tightening trade relations between the countries.
The Embassy hopes the cooperation with the Lulu hypermarket will go a long way. The two sides share a commitment to meet the wishes of consumers in the UAE and GCC for high-quality, safe, delicious, and nutritious products from Vietnam, promoting the export of Vietnamese agricultural products as well as other non-food products.
