"Hau Dong costumes are very diverse and unique, each costume used for a ritual session represents the characteristics of each saint in the Mother religion. Therefore, the colors used for each outfit are also very vibrant and unique. Van Anh chose the costume material as embroidered brocade, which is both luxurious and stylish, showing the nobility of the doll model. The details attached to the costume such as necklaces, rings, and bracelets are all gold. With the doll's face, the highlight is the eyes, so it is also sophisticated and glamorous makeup. A model is usually completed in at least 2 months."
So far, Van Anh has completed 16 models of dolls simulating Vietnam's Mother Goddess worship.
