The charter of the Association aims to strengthen the coordination of Vietnamese veterans associations in various parts of Germany to strive toward a common goal: enhancing the solidarity and fostering the development of the Vietnamese overseas community.
In the inauguration ceremony, the Association’s rules and regulations, action plan and vision in the first tenure (2018-2020) was ratified.
According to Luong Thanh Nghi, Vice President of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese affairs, the Association will serve as a formal platform for overseas Vietnamese veterans to jointly further contribute to the development of home country.
The Association not only signifies the common viewpoints, the concerns and rights of veterans, but moreover, its establishment acknowledges the sacrifice of them during wartime.
It will also help promote the beautiful traditional virtues of the Vietnamese soldiers and contribute to the progress of home country and enhancement of the Vietnam – Germany ties./.
