Vietnam's beauty depicted by two Spanish photographers

The Vietnamese Embassy in Spain recently joined with the University Camilo José Cela, Madrid (Spain) to launch a photo exhibition themed "The view of Vietnam" (Miradas de Vietnam).

The exhibition is a significant event marking the beginning of the 10th anniversary of the two countries’ Strategic Partnership toward the future (2009-2019).

Guests attending the event included Vietnamese Ambassador to Spain Ngo Tien Dung, leaders of the University Camilo José Cela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, various embassies and the Vietnamese community in Madrid.

"The view of Vietnam" is a collection of more than 50 photos capturing the exotic beauty of Vietnam’s three regions by two Spanish photographers, Jorge Mendoza Ismer and Carlos Vaquerín Moares, during their trip to the S-shape country in March 2018.

The photos vividly depict the magnificent landscape and the vibrant life of people in Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang, Hanoi, Sapa, etc. Kick started on February 11, the exhibition will run through February 15, 2019.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Ngo Tien Dung stated that the exhibition would contribute to enhancing two countries' diplomatic relations as well as the cooperation between the University and the Embassy in particular, and between Spain and Vietnam in general.

On this occasion, Foundation Camilo Jose Cela University expressed their wish to coordinate with Vietnamese Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to implement a number of charity projects in Vietnam as well as receiving more Vietnamese students coming to the institution for exchange activities./.
