Ms. Tran Thi Thanh My, Commercial Counselor, Vietnam Trade Office in Thailand said that Vietnam should redirect and consider Thailand as a trading partner instead of a competitor on agricultural products.
Currently, Thailand is considered the processing center of Southeast Asia. Therefore, Thailand has a demand for a variety of raw materials for processing, including goods imported from Vietnam. Therefore, instead of focusing on the Chinese market, Vietnam should boost exports to Thailand with many special agricultural products, reported by VnExpress.
