For a plan to organise a conference on this occasion, Thang stressed that it should be held in a national scale with the participation of central and local leaders, experts and scholars as well as businesses of both sides.
Regarding personnel training activities, he said the HCMA often invites Indian experts to lecture at strategic cadre planning classes held by the academy, adding this activity should be maintained and fostered in the time ahead.
HCMA President Thang expressed interest in further reinforcing the Academy's exchanges with India in wide-ranging areas of contemporary relevance. |
Ambassador Pranay Verma said that the HCMA is the premier training institute for the senior Party and State officials of Vietnam and together with its Centre for India Studies, plays a key role in developing scholarship on India in Vietnam and promotion of academic exchanges with Indian institutions.
He suggested the two nations expand collaboration in three potential fields of health care, green recovery and digital economy.
The seminars between the two countries are an opportunity to learn new cooperation opportunities for both sides, he added. In 2022, the two countries can organise events in the first and second half of 2022 with the participation of scholars from the two countries, in the form of combined face-to-face and online.
The ambassador hoped that the two sides would soon determine a suitable time to hold these events.

The official proposed the organisation of a conference to look back on the 50-year diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore (1973-2023). This a milestone to once again affirm the development achievements in the traditional friendship and strategic cooperation partnership between the two countries, towards new cooperation orientations with potential fields such as: green growth, digital transformation, anti-corruption, party building.
Therefore, the two sides need to have a workshop to review the achievements and lessons learned in the past 50 years of cooperation, and the direction of cooperation in the coming time.
