Ecotourism is a type of tourism taking place in areas with natural ecosystems for the purpose of studying, admiring, and enjoying landscapes, as well as learning more about cultural values. Currently, Na Hang has the potential to be a national eco-tourism complex that draws tourists in. This is an advantage to developing ethnic folklore tourism to attract tourists, especially eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and tourism to the Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir.
Nguyen Quang ranks third in Vietnam in terms of forest coverage, and Na Hang is the district with the highest forest coverage density in the province, accounting for 71% of the district's natural land area. It also has economic value and is important in protecting the ecological environment. There is Tat Ke-Ban Bung Nature Reserve with an approved conservation area of 42,000 ha.

The forest here is rich in rare flora and fauna (including 40 species of mammals, 70 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles, and 17 species of higher plants), typically animals listed in the Red Book such as Snub-nosed monkey, Francois' leaf monkey, Asian black bear, and thousand-year-old trees. The reserve plays a particularly important role in protecting the water source for the Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir, regulating floods in the downstream area, and is an extremely attractive eco-tourism and adventure destination.
Tourism activities contribute to economic restructuring, create jobs, increase people's income, and gradually turn tourism into an important economic sector of the district. It also promotes socio-economic development and creates the premise to build the Na Hang district as an attractive tourist destination.

Taking a boat trip on the lake at any time of the day, from early dawn to sunset, visitors can breathe in the pure atmosphere and admire the pristine and mysterious beauty.
In the early morning, Na Hang Lake is shrouded in a thick blanket of fog, the clouds seem to linger on one side of the mountains, while a flock of white storks hover in the sky, making the landscape look more surreal like the setting of a movie. When the sun comes out, the scene appears more clearly, with the crystal clear blue sky and mirror-like water surface.
Na Hang Lake is the confluence of the Gam and Nang Rivers. The meeting venue of the two rivers is Pac Ta Mountain, the highest mountain in the district. At the foot of the mountain stands Pac Ta temple, which worships a concubine of General Tran Nhat Duat from the 13th century.

During the journey, tourists will visit the magical and poetic Pac Ban waterfall (Mo waterfall), which is ranked as a national landscape. According to the people here, the legend of Mo waterfall is a touching story about a young woman named Mo and her husband living at the foot of Pac Ban mountain. One day, the husband went to pick medicine in the forest but never returned. The wife went to find her husband for many days and then got lost in the forest. One day, she turned into a white waterfall.
Travelers who love adventurous experiences can take a trek to Mo, Cay Dai, and Cay Sung waterfalls, which are located inside the Na Hang Natural Reserve. Lying amid a remote jungle along the banks of the Gam and Nang rivers, the reserve is renowned for its magnificent caves and a diverse ecosystem with many endangered flora and fauna species. One of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area is Khuoi Nhi, which is akin to white silk across the cliff as it is seen from afar.
