VVOB has implemented many initiatives to help improve the quality of teaching and learning during its operations in Vietnam. One of VVOB's signature activities is to apply the "Learning through Play" method in the Vietnamese educational system. “Learning through Play” aims to create an educational environment that is highly interactive, experiential, and exploratory, through which children learn new knowledge and skills with happiness.

From 2019-2023, VVOB implemented the iPlay project: Integrating Learning through Play into Vietnamese primary education. In 2022, VVOB cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University Publishing House to publish a set of materials for educational managers and primary school teachers on Learning through Play. The documents provide information and detailed instructions on how to apply the Learning through Play method to specific subjects and activities, such as applying the multiplication table in real-life situations, teaching children how to use vocabulary and punctuation through interactive games, and encouraging students to talk about personal feelings and thoughts. VVOB also drafted many other documents such as instructions on applying "Learning through Play" for parents, and "Learning through Play” for different genders, which are provided for free on its website.

VVOB is currently developing the "Learning through Play for Primary School" online course nationwide. Through local departments of education and training, the course is introduced to primary school teachers. Aiming to support professional development for more than 80,000 elementary school teachers, the course provides teachers with knowledge, skills, and experience about the "Learning through Play" method, through which teachers deeply understand and have the ability to apply this method to their classes.

In his remarks, Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, said VVOB is a "long-time friend" who has made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam and the friendship between Vietnam and Belgium. The support and cooperation of foreign non-governmental organizations, including organizations from Belgium, is important to Vietnam in continuing to consolidate the results achieved and move towards its sustainable development goals set out for 2045. VUFO and the People's Aid Coordination Committee (PACCOM) will continue to accompany, support, create conditions, and jointly seek resources for VVOB to continue operating effectively in Vietnam.

According to Karolina Rutskowska, Head of VVOB project office in Vietnam, during 30 years of operation, VVOB has continuously contributed to the development of Vietnam's education system, on the basis of respecting Vietnam's education policy. In the coming time, VVOB will continue to cooperate with the Vietnamese government to build an equitable, comprehensive, and quality education.
