VWU gives vocational training to over one million women
Over the past 5 years, the unions at all levels and enterprises of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) have given vocational training to over 1 million female labourers, exceeding the set target by 300%.
Over the past 5 years, the unions at all levels and enterprises of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) have given vocational training to over 1 million female labourers, exceeding the set target by 300%.

The information was announced during a meeting held on October 17th by the VWU to review the project on providing vocational training to women in the 2010-2015 period.
According to the VWU, 81% of the trained female labourers got jobs after the training.
In the 2016-2020 period, the union will focus on training for the industry sectors with the greatest need and provide the best opportunities for employment such as those in social services, advanced technology and new style cooperatives./.
