Young Vietnamese Movie Stars Honoured at Asian Academy Creative Awards

Kha Ngan (full name Tran Thi Kim Ngan, born on July 31, 1997) is a Vietnamese actress, singer, and photo model. She is known as a photo model of many fashion brands when she was in school. Her first leading role was in a TV series named Tro ve 3 (2014). Kha Ngan is popular for her leading role in the Vietnamese adaptation of the famous Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun” (2018). Kha Ngan was listed in TC Candler's 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2020. The 23-year-old girl is now a famous actress in Vietnam.
Quoc Anh (full name Tran Quoc Anh, born on April 1, 1998) is a Vietnamese actor, known for Autumn Promise (2019), Secrets of the Wind (2019) and Trạng Quỳnh (2019). He also was a competitor on The Amazing Race Vietnam (2019).

According to VOV, “Secrets of the Wind” tells the story of an art student who moves into an old haunted villa where she encounters a ghost who needs help to resolve his mysterious past. The stellar performance and chemistry between both Kha Ngan and Quoc Anh were both major factors in this achievement. Indeed, they are the two only Vietnamese representatives to be named at this year’s Asian Awards.
The Asian Academy Creative Awards is a leading prestigious award in Asia and aims to honour television programmes, along with professional and well-known production units in the region, with the event featuring a total of 49 award categories, as reported by VOV.
“In recognizing the diversity and talent of the Asia-Pacific screen industry, the Awards are helping to give definition to the fastest growing region for entertainment. It is wonderful to see this emerging identity, and to celebrate Asian filmmaking”, said Belinda Lui – President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Motion Picture Association.
