Binh Duong Groups Unite to Provide Home for Family in Need

The Binh Duong Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chanh Phu Hoa Ward People’s Committee to organize the Great Solidarity House handover ceremony to a disadvantaged household in the locality.

Nguyen Thi My Le, born in 1987, and her family reside in Quarter 9, Chanh Phu Hoa Ward, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province. Despite her hard work, her household is festooned with difficult circumstances. Le is a single mother, works at a factory, and takes care of two children, Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, born in 2007, and Nguyen Truc Vy, born in 2015.

For years, her family's house has been in terrible condition, but she could not rebuild or repair it. In this situation, the Binh Duong Union of Friendship Organizations has connected with the Two-Side Project - 2SP/USA to support the family with funding to rebuild the house.

The house was built on an area of 54 square meters with a total construction cost of 145 million VND, of which 100 million VND was donated by the Two-Side Project - 2SP/USA. The remaining amount was contributed by the family, local organizations, and individuals.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, local leaders, unions, organizations, and individuals presented housewarming gifts to the family.
