Attending the Congress, Truong Hoa Binh, Party Central Committee Secretary and President of the People’s Supreme Court, asked the provincial Party Committee to push up strategic solutions to effectively meet the targets set for the next 5 years.

Accordingly, the province was urged to build the infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure; develop human resources; improve administrative reform, and create favourable conditions to attract domestic and foreign investment.

Mr. Binh also requested the province to attach importance to developing the sea economy in combination with the protection of the nation’s sea and island sovereignty.

During the Congress, Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, term XII, stressed that over the past 5 years, important and comprehensive achievements had been gained in the province, creating positive changes in all aspects of social life.

However, he also pointed out the fact that the province’s economic development had not match its potential, with low competitiveness of agricultural products, and slow pushing back of corruption in some areas.

During the Congress, experience in the leadership of the provincial Party Committee was drawn, thus setting out the missions, orientations and solutions for breakthrough development in the next 5 years./.
