In the introductory video at the book launch ceremony, Bert De Belder, Head of the International Department of the Belgian Labor Party said that he is happy with the finished project. “We are delighted that the book by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong is published in French, Dutch and other languages. The ideas conveyed in the book are timely, important, and useful."

"The publication is timely. I believe that it can help many scholars around the world better understand socialism in Vietnam and the Communist Party of Vietnam”, said Prof. Dr. Phan Kim Nga, a senior expert at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. According to Nga, when translated into Chinese and published in Chinese media, Nguyen Phu Trong's articles attracted the attention of Chinese readers and researchers who want to learn about the theoretical achievements of Vietnamese socialism.

Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sengphet Houngboungnuang also spoke highly of the written work. "The book will be a valuable reference on socialism and the path to socialism that Laos can learn from." He believes that Lao schools, party agencies, and authorities will soon buy and read the book.

The Vietnamese version of the book was published on the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2022). Introduced to international friends by Vietnamese embassies and diplomatic missions, the book has received the attention of researchers, scholars, and readers from other countries. This is the foundation to translate this book into foreign languages.

The book selects 29 typical articles and speeches of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, focusing on five main topics:

(1) Steps to realize the path to socialism

(2) Consistency among the Party's guidelines, the State's policies, laws, and activities to serve the people's benefits

(3) Upholding dignity and integrity - the most sacred and noble act

(4) "Vietnamese bamboo" - Vietnam's distinctive diplomacy style: firm roots, strong trunks, flexible branches

(5) Culture is the soul of the nation - the nation survives if the culture survives

The book's publication in foreign languages has received the support and cooperation of many central agencies and departments. The translation was participated by prestigious experts, translators, and collaborators from the Central Committee for External Relations, the University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Military Science Academy. Native professionals from Laos, China, Canada, Cuba, and Russia were invited to review the translations.

The book "Theory and Practice of Socialism in Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is published in seven foreign languages. In parallel with publishing more than 11,000 paper copies, the National Political - Truth Publishing House launched seven ebooks.
