Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao, Director of the General Research Department of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Pham Thi Thu Huong attended the ceremony. There were also representatives of Vietnamese Associations in Hungary, representatives of women's organizations in several European countries, and nearly 160 members of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary.

Phan Bich Thien, President of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary, shared that over the past 20 years, the organization has become a common home and a trusted address for Vietnamese women in the host country. It has also become a core member in community activities and a prestigious organization with a representative agency. Thien emphasized that the organization has affirmed a certain position in the host country's society with many positive contributions to the community. Vietnamese women's movement in Europe.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, the President of the Association sent her gratitude to the previous generations who built the foundation for its development. She also thanked the members for voluntarily contributing with the sincere desire to do meaningful work for women and the community.

Thien also paid her gratitude to the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary, the Foreign Affairs Committee and relevant domestic agencies, Vietnamese associations in Hungary, Hungarian organizations, and friends for their close attention and support over the years.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao highly appreciated the role and contribution of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary. She affirmed that it is an indispensable part of the activities of the Vietnamese community. Its good reputation with the Hungarian government and society was earned thanks to the creativity and positive initiatives in promoting the homeland of Vietnam as well as integrating with the host country. Thao believed the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary would continue to develop to be the common house for more Vietnamese young people living and working here.

The Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary also received a congratulatory letter from Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Le Thi Thu Hang, President of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, on this special occasion.

One of the highlights of the event was the Certificate of Merit award ceremony for the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary and President Phan Bich Thien. These Certificates of Merit were from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. Some members of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary also received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao.

Other activities of the ceremony include singing and dancing performances of famous songs such as Tre Viet, Vietnamese Pride, and Truong Son Dong, Truong Son Tay, along with self-written songs by the members.
