In the typical flower seasons of Hanoi, when the flowers burst into full bloom in Hanoi, the flowers are reasonably priced, Thuy buys hundreds of bunches to plant at her terrace.
"Born in a village on the outskirts of Hanoi where grows many flowers, I always have a dream of living in a flowery house. In recent years, when I have more free time, I can fulfill my dream”, Thuy was quoted by VNE as saying.

Previously, Thuy had never intended to plant lotus flowers on her terrace because they are quite expensive. Last May, she took advantage of 1,000 lotus flowers whose stamen were taken out to marinate tea to decorate her terrace.

In the blooming chrysanthemum season, it costs her about VND 800000 (US$ 34.73) to have enough flowers to fully cover the terrace.
"The chrysanthemum dyes a corner at my terrace with a yellow hue, making it looks incredibly beautiful. I plug chrysanthemum into a sponge and water then every day, so they can bloom longer”, she said.

Orchid is one of the flower kinds that Thuy loves most and devotes much time to care. She arranges and decorates flower pots by herself. Previously, the orchids were placed on the balcony and terrace with lots of sunshine, so they did not grow well. She then grew other plants to create moisture, therefore, orchids can flourish as the present.
