Conference to Disseminate Information on Foreign Affairs Held in Binh Dinh

At the conference, Dr. Phan Anh Son, Vice President - General Secretary of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, President of the Vietnam Institute of International Studies and People-to-people Diplomacy, talked about new and noteworthy issues in the world and opportunities and challenges for Vietnam in diplomacy.
In particular, he emphasized the foreign policy in accordance with the 13th Party Congress's Resolution, consistent implementation of the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation and development, diversification, and multilateralization of foreign relations, combining the strength of the nation with the strength of the times, proactively and actively integrating into the world in a comprehensive and in-depth manner.
In the coming time, it is necessary to continue to strengthen coordination among pillars, departments, ministries, branches, localities, organizations, and agencies in the foreign affairs sector in order to build a comprehensive and modern diplomacy, promoting the pioneering role in creating and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, mobilizing foreign resources to develop the country and enhance the country's position and prestige, improving the efficiency of economic diplomacy for the country's sustainable development.
