(VNF) - Encompassing exciting events throughout Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Central Vietnam, "Taste of Australia" is the Australian Government’s first celebration of Australian food, beverage and cuisine across the nation.

As part of this nationwide campaign, the Taste of Australia family Barbecue will be held at the Ocean Villas, just outside of the central city of Da Nang, from 14h00 to 18h00 on April 17th.

This event is hosted by the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam and Consulate-General to Ho Chi Minh city, and is supported by leading Central Vietnam businesses.

Vietnamese people are able to experience premium Australian food and beverage products, including Savour Aussie barbecue specialties, and delicious desserts such as lamingtons, accompanied by refreshing Australian beer and wines and live music.

There will also be a kid’s corner with a bouncy castle, slip and slide and Aussie rules football. The entry fee is free for kids under 18 and VND200,000 for adults, which includes four food and drink vouchers. Participants will have a chance to win free flights, free nights accommodation at 5-star resorts, golf rounds and wine and food vouchers./.
