As many as 7,000 commercial visitors will take part in Da Nang international tourism mart on beach leisure and MICE travel from June 24th to 26th, at the Tien Son Sports Palace.

The event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee, is the first of its kind in Vietnam and will have 150 booths on display.

On the sidelines, the event will include a conference to introduce MICE tourism and luxury beach leisure, a friendship Golf Tournament for VIP guests, a survey tour before and after the mart and a photo exhibition.

The mart is expected to bring opportunities for trade promotion and market expansion to domestic and foreign enterprises, especially in key areas with international air routes to Da Nang.

Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the event aims to stimulate demand for the domestic tourism market, contributing to increasing the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Vietnam in general and in the central region in particular.

The organizers will carry out a popularization project to help raise awareness for the public about the concept of sustainable tourism development, in which Da Nang beach will be chosen as a pioneering model to develop environmentally and socially responsible tourism capacity./.
