Surrounding Cu Lao Cau is a coral shelf about 2 km long, preserved quite intact with 234 types of colorful coral. With swimming goggles and life jackets, tourists can immerse themselves in the cool, clear water and discover marine life. There is currently no fresh water on the island, so people are advised to bring their own water bottles or buy them from a small grocery store.
In Cu Lao Cau, there are two distinct seasons. The southern wind season lasts from January to June in the lunar calendar when the sea is calm. There are many boats crowded over the island. The wind season lasts from July to December in the lunar calendar, with strong winds and waves that are not suitable for swimming. So the best time to visit the island is from April to August when nature is the most gorgeous of the year.

It still retains its wild appearance and there are not many houses around here. Surrounded by all four sides is the vast, beautiful sea. This place is really suitable for those who love the blue sea and want to enjoy a tranquil time for themselves.
Walking around the island, tourists can easily see the large rocks with interesting and strange shapes stretching towards the sea. People can choose a comfortable spot to sit and listen to the calming sound of the waves, and breathe in the fresh atmosphere. Do not forget to bring water and light snacks to stay full and hydrated.
