A Vietnam Labor Day 2023 celebration will take place on December 11 at Gyeonggi University of Science and Technology, Gyeonggi province of the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The event will take place under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, implemented by the Department of Overseas Labor Management, the Vietnam Centre for Overseas Labor, and the Overseas Employment Support Fund, the Vietnam Labor Management Office under the Employment Permit System (EPS) and other units.

An event supports foreign workers in general and Vietnamese in particular when living and working in the Korea.

At the event, Vietnamese workers can update new policies on the EPS of Vietnam and RoK, E9 labor consulting, visa change, along with college and university training programs. In addition, attendees will enjoy cultural exchange performances between the two countries.

There will be food stalls from all three regions of Vietnam along with many valuable lucky draw gifts from sponsors such as four plane tickets, mobile phones, and many attractive gifts. Football-friendly matches between four attractive teams will also be held.

Singers Ngoc Anh and To Minh Duc will come to the RoK and bring everyone many powerful performances.

Up to now, Vietnam has sent over 110,000 workers to the RoK under the EPS program, with an average monthly income of USD 1,800. About 30,000 are working under the EPS among the 40,000 Vietnamese workers in the RoK at present, according to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
