Foyer Vietnam - Home of Friends of Vietnam in France

For many years, Foyer Vietnam (also known as “Vietnam House”) has become an address for French friends and overseas Vietnamese community to share culture, language, cuisine, and history of Vietnam.

On October 28, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Foyer Vietnam Association in France. Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang attended and spoke at the ceremony.

Over the past ten years, "Vietnam House" has become a meaningful gathering place for meeting, sharing, supporting, and connecting. This place is now a regular place for generations of Vietnamese and French friends who love and want to learn about Vietnam through many diverse activities to maintain and promote the image of the country, culture, and people.

Foyer Vietnam also has a website to help Vietnamese students find internships, part-time jobs, or accommodation. This is also a useful information channel for associations and businesses during their operations in France and Vietnam.

“Foyer Vietnam's activities have contributed to strengthening the Vietnam - France friendship”, said Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang at the ceremony.

Member of Parliament Anne Le Hénanff, President of the France-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Association, expressed her appreciation towards the activities of Vietnamese associations in France in contributing to strengthening the relationship between the people of France and Vietnam. She said that cultural exchange and language teaching activities make an important contribution to promoting mutual understanding and solidarity between the two peoples. The anniversary of Foyer Vietnam is an opportunity for both sides to identify new cooperation priorities in their strategic partnership such as digital technology, security, and climate change.

Member of Parliament Anne Le Hénanff also said that French parliamentarians will regularly discuss with the Embassy of Vietnam in France, Associations of overseas ​​Vietnamese and Vietnamese partners in France to grasp the issues that Vietnam is concerned about.

At the ceremony, guests enjoyed traditional dishes prepared by chefs of Foyer Vietnam and folk songs performed by artists of Vietnamese origin.

Foyer Vietnam is located at No. 80, Monge Street, District 5, Paris. This is a gathering place for the first generation of Vietnamese students to France and French friends to maintain attachment to their roots through many forms such as language, culture, cuisine.

By 2013, the appearance of "Vietnam House" changed completely after a period of upgrading and modernization, creating favorable conditions for organizing activities to introduce typical cultures and cuisines of different Vietnamese regions.
