Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung congratulated US Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink on successfully concluding his term in Vietnam. Dung highly appreciated the cooperation from the US Embassy and the Ambassador himself in promoting the bilateral relations to continue to effectively, sustainably develop in-depth on the basis of respecting each other's sovereignty territorial integrity, and political institutions.
Vietnam's Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed Vietnam's policy to assert the US as one of the most important partners. Vietnam hopes to further promote and deepen the Comprehensive Partnership with the US on bilateral, regional, and international levels, so that the relations can stably, efficiently, and practically develop.

On this occasion, authorized by Vietnam's leaders, Deputy Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung awarded the Friendship Order to Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink for his positive and effective contributions to the development of Vietnam - US Comprehensive Partnership.
The US Ambassador expressed his special thanks to the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs for closely coordinating, facilitating the US Embassy to accomplish its missions in the past term.
The Ambassador shared his great honor and pride to represent the United States in Vietnam as well as to directly contribute to the strong development of the Vietnam - US Comprehensive Partnership. He affirmed that his good affection for the country and the people of Vietnam would never fade.
The US Ambassador expressed his optimism about the future of the bilateral relations, affirming that in any position, he would do his best to nurture the US- Vietnam relations, making a practical contribution to the Indo-Pacific regional and international peace, stability, cooperation, and prosperity.
