Ha Nam is located at the southern gateway of Hanoi, about 65 km from the capital city. The local festival season usually takes place from January to March every year. The Buddha's birthday falls on the full moon day of April (lunar calendar), suitable for visiting temples.
The province focuses on developing ecological and culinary tourism with historical relics, landscapes and famous craft villages. One of Ha Nam's most popular destinations is Tam Chuc Cultural Complex. This is a large complex of spiritual landscapes, including Tam Chuc Pagoda, known as one of the largest pagodas in the world. The complex is known for its majestic, pristine natural landscape, attracting both local and international visitors who want to experience the rich Buddhist cultural values of the S-shaped country.
