India To Support Kon Tum Province In Human Resource Training

At the meeting with the People's Committee of Kon Tum province, Madan Mohan Sethi, Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed confidence in the growing cooperative relationship between India and Vietnam in general and Kon Tum province in particular.

In 2023, the number of Indian tourists coming to Vietnam was quite large and is expected to increase sharply, so Madan Mohan Sethi hopes that Kon Tum province will continue to focus on tourism development and promoting national culture. India will support Kon Tum province in training human resources in health and information technology.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap proposed to Madan Mohan Sethi to support the province in implementing the exchange of delegations with localities, for India's cooperation aims to exchange information, promote its image and potential strengths in investment, trade, and tourism.

Nguyen Huu Thap hopes that this visit will contribute to tightening the relationship between Kon Tum province and the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, and open up opportunities for cooperation between Kon Tum province and Indian localities.
