Indian actress Avika Gor participated in an exchange event with workers in Vinh Loc Industrial Park (Binh Chanh, Ho Chi Minh City). She also enjoys and learns to make traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Avika Gor, born in 1997, became famous after playing the role of Anandi (childhood) in the hit Indian TV series 'The 8 year old bride.' At the time of filming, Avika was only 11 years old, but she already showed her acting ability.

For Vietnamese audiences, she is also loved when she appears in the film "The Battle of the Brides." The 26-year-old actress also acted in some famous Indian productions such as Uyyala Jampala (2013), Cinema Choopistha Mava (2015), and Raju Gari Gadhi 3 (2019).

Avika Gor has been to Vietnam 5 times but has rarely had the opportunity to enjoy the traditional and folk dishes of Vietnam.

Returning to Vietnam for the fifth time, the Indian actress shared that she want to introduce all Vietnamese dishes to her Indian friends. Vietnamese dishes are similar to Indian dishes thanks to ingredients such as rice, flour, and beans, among others. The difference here is that Indian dishes are more seasoned with several spices.

The event also featured singer Nguyen Phi Hung. He shared that he has seen the movie 'The 8 year old bride' and Indian filmmaking techniques have always attracted him. "Indian culture is similar to Vietnam, so there are many things Vietnamese actors and filmmakers can learn."

At the event, Avika Gor spent more than 30 minutes taking souvenir photos with fans. The 1997-born actress received the affection of the audience in many countries.

Avika Gor is a famous actress who plays Anandi in India's longest-running television series 'The 8-Year-Old Bride' with more than 2,500 episodes. The role helped Avika Gor receive many prestigious awards such as Best Child Actress, Best Actress, Most Popular Actress.

In Vietnam, 'The 8-year-old Bride' set a record as the longest television series with 1,224 episodes. Avika Gor also received the award for Most Popular Foreign Actor in Vietnam in 2014 from the Blue Star Award.

Currently, the actress is dating Milind Chandwani - who is famous for the MTV show Roadies Real Heroes. The two often share dating moments on their personal pages.

The actress said that Vietnamese people and landscapes are very impressive. She likes the land of Phu Yen because there are many beautiful beaches here. She hopes to have a house in Vietnam in the future and bring her family to travel often.
