(VNF) - From April 7^th-9^th, International Culinary and Music Festival – Food Fest 2017 will take place for the first time in Hanoi with many exciting activities of food competitions, games and musical performances.

The festival aims to introduce Vietnamese traditional cuisine and famous cuisines in the world as well as boost Vietnamese tourism, culture and entertainment.

During 3 days, a series of exciting activities will be organized such as the Exploration of World Culinary to taste various types of foods and drinks from hundreds of brands of more than 200 participating vendors from Vietnam, the US, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, China and Japan; “Music and Light” shows with the participation of famous singers in Viet Nam; activities for kids and families; contests for culinary lovers…

The event will see the participation of Vietnamese American celebrity chef Jack Lee, known for his cookery show “Taste of Vietnam”. Lee will cook up a number of traditional Vietnamese dishes at the event.

Besides Lee, several local and foreign cooks and bartenders from well-known resorts, hotels and restaurants will participate in the fest.

Besides, in the festival, the audiences would have a chance to enjoy “IONAH Show”, “Bartender show”, “Wine show”…

The event will also feature singers Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi, Son Tung M-TP, Nhat Thuy and Trong Hieu performing many of their latest hit songs.

The organisers expect to attract 45,000 visitors to the fest.

The opening ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on April 7^th at Royal City’s Square (Thuong Dinh, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

A free return Grab car taxi service will be sponsored for guests during the three days of the event.
