Ambassador Ito Naoki expressed his delight upon visiting the scenic Ba Den Mountain, highlighting his appreciation for Tay Ninh's effort in hosting the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Program at such a picturesque location for the first time. He underscored the Japanese affection for cherry blossoms, symbols of spring in Japan, and shared his joy in seeing 200 cherry blossom trees being planted atop Ba Den Mountain. He pointed out that this gesture symbolizes the strong friendship between Vietnam and Japan, further strengthening the ties between the two nations as well as between Japan and Tay Ninh province.
Ambassador Ito Naoki also remarked on the comprehensive strategic partnership between Japan and Vietnam for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world. He noted Japan's commitment to this relationship, which encompasses numerous areas including tourism, cultural exchanges, and interactions between local communities.
Additionally, Ito Naoki expressed his hope that following the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Week, many tourists from Japan would visit Vietnam and Tay Ninh, and vice versa.
