At the 13th Ocean Dialogue in Can Tho City on November 14th, domestic and international experts delved deep into the implications of the BBNJ Agreement. While the agreement marks a significant milestone in international law, its implementation remains a long and complex process.

From November 13-14, at Nui Chua National Park (Ninh Thuan province), the Department of Fisheries (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) collaborated with the Humane Society International (HSI) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature in Vietnam (IUCN Vietnam) to organize the training program on “Instructions for rescuing sea turtles and marine mammals and information collection on unintentional exploitation of sea turtles and marine mammals".

The agreement on the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) is the third implementing agreement of UNCLOS, further strengthening UNCLOS and contributing to the consolidation of multilateralism. This agreement marks a new milestone in the development of international law.

On November 9, in Da Nang City, the Youth Union of Brigade 172, Naval Region 3, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Hoang Hoa Tham High School, organized the signing of a joint program to implement propaganda, career guidance, and military recruitment counseling for young people from 2024 to 2030. Concurrently, the program introduced maritime and island situation, as well as the Navy's military recruitment for 2025.
