On the evening of November 7, at the Rex Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City), Universe Media Vietnam (Unimedia) and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism launched the reality TV program called “Đi Việt Nam Đi- Vietnam why not” (Go Vietnam - Vietnam why not). The show consists of 10 episodes and is scheduled to be on air at 9:55 p.m. every Friday on the VTV9 channel from November 27, VNExpress reported.

Nine beauties including Miss and Runners-up of Miss Universe Vietnam will be divided into 3 teams to implement the challenges and discover tourist attractions in Vietnam.
"Along with the mission of boosting the country's tourism, it is expected that the teams will bring exciting competitions to the audiences", said Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, CEO Unimedia, general director of the program, adding that this reality TV show will use the technology pioneering platform.

The teams only use smartphones and QR codes to gain information. “QR Code journey is an information channel from the producer to the teams, containing challenges or clues", Hoang added.
Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism also affirmed that the program will promote Vietnam's beauty regarding culture, people, and natural landscapes.

The organizing board hopes that the program will contribute to luring more visitors to explore Vietnam through experiences.
To date, “Đi Việt Nam Đi- Vietnam why not” has received support from many hotels, resorts, and entertainment places across the country such as Charm Resort, Rex Saigon, My Khanh tourist village, Vinpearl - Vinwonder, Binh Chuan Heritage Cruises, Diamond Bay Nha Trang Hotel, Diamond Stars Ben Tre, Dalat Palace, Bao Son International Hotel, etc.
