Why is an "Ordinary Dream"?
Recently, Thuy Nguyen's Ordinary Dream exhibition attracted public attention. The during-9-year collections were renewed by the designer to place them in the space of intersection between Vietnamese traditional culture and Western spirit. "During the time of the Covid-19 spread, I wonder what everyone's wishes, is it ordinary or normal things which are settling, and peaceful in a place unaffected by things around?". Throughout many years in her profession, Thuy Nguyen doesn't flaunt herself. No matter how successful or praised by others, she still balances herself in peace with ordinary things. Because the designer contemplates that it finds hard to achieve peaceful things in life.
