Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh highly appreciated the Association's contributions to the Vietnamese community in the area, helping to unite the community and preserve Vietnamese cultural identity.
The Ambassador hopes that the 2024 Vietnamese Tet Festival will bring a taste of nostalgia for the overseas Vietnamese living far away from their homeland, and bring a happy time at the end of the year.
He also hopes that the Vietnamese community in Malaysia will continue to contribute positively to the development of both countries and become a bridge to further strengthen the Vietnam-Malaysian relationship.
He especially emphasized the need for overseas Vietnamese to continue to preserve the Vietnamese language, cultural identity, and good traditions of the Vietnamese people.

Special events such as Vietnamese Tet are making an important contribution to promoting the good friendship between the two countries in general and strengthening people-to-people exchanges in particular.
Mohamed Amin further shared that the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture of Malaysia is committed to fully supporting the establishment of the twin city models of Melaka-Hoi An and Langkawi-Phu Quoc in the future.
Attending the festival, guests can try many traditional Vietnamese food dishes such as banh chung, banh tet, mut, pickled onions, and coffee, along with traditional ao dai stalls and Tet flower markets.
The community wishes to introduce the beauty of the Vietnamese traditional Tet holiday to Malaysian and international friends.
The 2024 Vietnamese Tet Festival program brought a series of other fun Tet activities such as "Wrapping banh chung to celebrate Vietnamese Tet," "Vietnamese Tet ao dai costumes," and exchanging traditional art and culture.
