Overseas Vietnamese Celebrate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
On June 19, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang, Ambassador-Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to UNESCO Le Thi Hong Van came to congratulate the resident press agencies of Vietnam in France, namely Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency and Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang highly appreciated the contributions of the press agencies over the years, emphasizing that the press agencies are "the wings that elevate the activities of the representative agencies, the extension arm of the civil services in delivering the news to the public, introducing and promoting the image of Vietnam and Vietnamese people, contributing to the success of the Vietnamese representative agencies in France.

On behalf of the press agencies residing in France, Mr. Le Khai Hoan, Head of the People's Newspaper News Agency affirmed that he is always aware of the role and duties of external information in the media, proactively grasping and communicating uploading updates on world, regional and French situations to Vietnam and contributing to the introduction and promotion of Vietnam's image in France and Europe. The press agencies have always accompanied, coordinated and supported the representative agencies to complete the work of external information.
Also on this occasion, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang presented the Certificate of Merit from the Foreign Minister to Mr. Bui Nguyen Quang Dung, Head of VOV Information Administration in France, who actively supported and coordinated work with units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On June 20, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Dung visited and congratulated the permanent representative office of the Vietnamese Communist Party, the Vietnam News Agency and the Voice of Vietnam Radio in Egypt.
Receiving the Ambassador, the head of the permanent office of the Vietnam News Agency and the Voice of Vietnam thanked Ambassador Nguyen Huy Dung for the concern, expressed his willingness to stand side by side with the Embassy and will continue to promote its strengths. in the work of foreign information in the near future.

On the same day in the US, Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Dung met with resident press agencies in Washington DC to congratulate them on the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day.
Addressing the congratulatory remarks to VNA reporters, Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dung also thanked VNA reporters in Washington DC for their expert reportage of political and diplomatic information and activities, community activities of expatriates, as well as of the embassy.
Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dung also highly appreciated the information cooperation of the VNA resident reporters during key information sessions such as Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to and working in the US in May. On the special occasion, the Ambassador on behalf of all embassy staff presented flower bouquets and wished VNA reporters good health and enthusiasm to continue dedicating to the development of the long-standing development of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.
Other delegation visited VNA news agencies included Vietnamese representative agencies in Washington DC such as the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Science and Technology.
