Quang Nam Hosts Korean Cultural Days 2022
On April 22, in Hoi An city, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province collaborated with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam to hold the opening ceremony of “Korean Cultural Days in Quang Nam 2022." The event is expected to have many exciting activities and promises to bring new colors for the festival season this year.

The year 2022 is a milestone marking the 30th anniversary of establishing strong and friendly diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (1992-2022). “Quang Nam province has strong exchange relationships with localities and units of Korea in many fields. Hoi An Ancient Town is also a favorite destination chosen by Korean tourists when traveling in Vietnam," stated at the opening ceremony by Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi An city.
The event “Korean Cultural Days in Quang Nam 2022” will contribute to embellishing the beautiful and colorful picture of the close and friendly relationship between the two countries of Vietnam and Korea in the present and future.
Since 2017, the Korean Embassy and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam have continuously cooperated with Quang Nam province to organize the event “Cultural Days."

This year’s program takes place continuously on April 22 and 23 with many activities for participants and tourists to experience Korean culture and Hoi An culture. Some include handicraft selling, trying on traditional costumes, tourism promotion, cuisine promotion, the introduction of Korean culture, Hoi An market fair, activities to experience folk games, mask painting, the introduction of the traditional Ao dai, etc.

Hoi An has also organized tours around the ancient town, craft villages, and tourist destinations in the locality to promote its history and culture to domestic and foreign visitors.
Recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, the town is a warren of ancient temples, houses, and shops built around several canals.
Hoi An was voted one of the “10 Most Welcoming Cities on Earth” by over 232 million people and one leading digital travel platform Booking.com, which was announced at the 10th annual Traveler Review Award 2022. Hoi An has also maintained its position as one of the world’s 13 most romantic destinations, as selected by CNN.
