A market in Quang Tri in 1969. It can be seen from the photos that women in the 1960s often wore Ao Dai, the traditional dress of Vietnamese people which is still ubiquitous and upholds high cultural values today, and a conical hat in their daily life while running errands or doing trading. This used to be a unique dress code in the culture that no longer exists in present day.
