The host and the guest performers showcased vibrant national characteristics in this event.
South Korean artist Park Jinmi presents a drum dance from the Jindo region of Jeollanam-do that evolved from agricultural music - performed during holidays, or in the countryside. Also, artists Seo Bogeun and Lee Youngjae present a Seon Salpuri dance - performed by tying long silk strips to a fan.
The event followed the Memorandum of Understanding signed between UHLA (Vietnam) and the Literature and Arts Association of Daegu City, (South Korea), opening up opportunities for exchange and cooperation in the field of literature and arts between the two cities.

Artists Seong Yujin and Seong Jeongmo perform a recital from the Pansori poem Simcheongga. The singer and the drummer tell a long story about filial piety. There are five Pansori poems in circulation nowadays. The shortest story takes 3 hours to tell, and the longest story takes 8 hours.
Vietnamese artists and artisans also brought many special performances. A performance of Hong Hong Tuyet Tuyet - a famous Ca Tru work that expressed different emotions in love and life.

Artists Bich Phuong, Minh Thien and the dance group performed the famous Chau Van artwork called Co Doi Thuong Ngan. This is a typical folk music genre in the Mother Goddess worship in Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2016.

On the other hand, folk singer Minh Thien and the music group performed the work Xam Thap An.

The program also included a visual exhibition of architectural photos, art photos, paintings and sculptures by artists from the two localities. According to Lee Chang Hwan, Chairman of the Literature and Arts Association of Daegu City, the success of the program is that people of the two countries can better understand each other's culture and art and respect those values through this experience.
