Strolling on Phu Tho's Crimson Forest Floor
Phu Tho is one of midland provinces in Northeast Vietnam. It is considered to be an important, ancient land of Vietnam where Hung Kings established the first country in Vietnam history.

Located on a mound with 500 square meters wide, the area of sesame buds consists of about 85 roots located at Go Tho temple, Chuong Xa commune, Cam Khe, Phu Tho. These roots were recognized as Vietnamese heritage trees.
There are not many documents recording the exact age of this population, but many people estimate these stumps to be more than 1,000 years old.

After decades of frost and wind, the trees are still strong and strong, reaching up to the blue sky. Sesame buds with all shapes, growing in different directions with rough, zigzag roots hidden on the ground create an extremely impressive scene.

The most beautiful moment must be counted in June and July of the solar calendar. That is the time the sesame buds are in bloom, red in a corner of the sky. The small flowers bloom mainly at night and fall to the ground early in the morning like a beautiful velvet carpet.

Besides the beauty of blooming flowers, sesame buds in Cam Khe also put on a very special color in March. Leaves begin to change color, turn yellow and red and then fought fall off. It bears a poetic and romantic atmostphere attracts lots of tourists.
In the middle of the mound, there is an ancient tomb without a nameplate or a roof. It is just a brick pedestal covered with green moss tinged with time and covered with sesame buds.

It is said that this is the place to worship Ngoc Hoa Princess, the 7th daughter of Hung King. However, according to the records of Chuong Xa commune, the origin of the tomb is believed to be of Tien Dung Princess.
Up to now, although the history of the tomb is still unknown, the sesame buds and the ancient tomb in Vinh mound has become a sacred place for people around the region. This place is also an interesting destination and favorite check in location for visitors.
