According to SiviDuc President Trinh Hoang Loang, the summer camp for Vietnamese youth and students in Germany has long been an indispensable event for the Vietnamese youth and students movement in this country.
The difference compared to previous camps is that the time of the 2023 Camp is increased to three days and two nights with a series of exciting and meaningful activities, gathering a large number of young people from all over the country.
In particular, the young people attending were not only students, but also many young people who went to vocational training and young people of Vietnamese origin who were born and raised in Germany. Activities within the framework of the camp contribute to a closer connection and connection between young people, promote the integration of new students to Germany to study as well as help those who were born and raised in Germany love Vietnamese language more, thereby learning Vietnamese and maintaining the homeland's culture.
With the theme "Village in the Street", the organizers have tried to build all the content within the event framework that balances all three elements of education - entertainment - and sports health, from cultural programs to food and folk games, creating an atmosphere like being in the homeland of Vietnam.
Founded in 2012, SiviDuc has been considered an inclusive forum and one of the legal representative for Vietnamese students studying and working in Germany. SiviDuc is also a founding member of the Union of Vietnamese Youth and Students in Europe and a member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

According to Long, all of students living far from their homeland are very eager to gather together to celebrate such meaningful community events such as Summer Camp 2023. On this occasion, head of organizing committee Le Minh Long also thanked for the companionship and support of the embassy, consulate general, sponsors and a large number of Vietnamese students in Germany to make the program a success.
On the first day of the camp, the students took part in boat tours on the Mainz River, visited many of which were stationed at famous landmarks of Frankfurt. At each point, students played Vietnamese folk games such as shooting marbles, jumping stalls, tug of war, and conical hat decorating.
