On March 19 in Hanoi, Chairman of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son held a meeting with Shira Loewenberg, Director of Asia Pacific Institute, American Jewish Committee (AJC). The two sides discussed future opportunities for cooperation in foreign policy research.

Mauri Raveala, President of the Finland - Vietnam Friendship Association (FVFA), shared that FVFA has been actively applying many traditional and modern forms to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between the two peoples.

Over the years, the Vietnamese and US governments and people have made significant efforts to overcome the consequences of war and have achieved positive results. However, there is a need to put out more projects and programs to further promote cooperation between the two countries in the fields of mine clearance and support for victims of Agent Orange.

On September 13, 2023, in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations held the 8th Presidium Conference, 6th session, 2019-2024 tenure.

The aid is the outcome of the Conference on strengthening cooperation and aid mobilization of foreign NGOs and partners held by Thanh Hoa and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) in Hanoi on October 31.

“During their operation, if they face problems or difficulties, international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) can directly discuss with the focal points, which are the People's Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM), and leaders of the Committee for Foreign NGOs Affairs (COMINGO). We are committed to listening, sincerely considering your opinions, and actively solving necessary issues,” confirmed Phan Anh Son - Vice President, General Secretary of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) at the 2020 Information Sharing Conference with INGOs in Hanoi on Oct. 18.
