Vietnam Partners with American Jewish Committee in Policy Research

On March 19 in Hanoi, Chairman of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son held a meeting with Shira Loewenberg, Director of Asia Pacific Institute, American Jewish Committee (AJC). The two sides discussed future opportunities for cooperation in foreign policy research.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son suggested that the two sides actively exchange information to explore opportunities to coordinate in developing research programs and discussing international and regional political issues.

The host also introduced to the guest about the country's development policy and foreign policy, the structure, functions and tasks of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the activities of the Vietnam - America Friendship Association.

According to Shira Loewenberg, this business trip to Vietnam aims to enhance exchange and cooperation with ministries, branches and relevant agencies working. According to the information gathered from the trip, a proposal for a working visit of AJC leaders and members to Vietnam at the end of 2024 will be prepared.
