Vietnam announces quarantine on all passengers starting March 21

Previously, only people returning Vietnam from the epidemic areas or those suspected of being infected with COVID-19 were held compulsorily quarantined.
According to the new decision which is effective from 0:00 March 21, all passengers enter Vietnam must be placed isolation.
Those entering Vietnam for the purpose of diplomacy and public affairs will be isolated in diplomatic missions or accommodation establishments under the supervision of authorities and health agencies.
Airlines are responsible for notification to all passengers entering Vietnam on this change.
Airlines are also required to prepare passengers 'medical declarations, reminding passengers to make mandatory medical declarations before entering Vietnam, checking passengers' body temperature before entering the station, cleaning and disinfecting aircraft according to regulations.
According to the Ministry of Transport, depending on the actual situation, flights to Vietnam may have to land at Van Don, Can Tho, Phu Cat and other airports due to the limited capacity of Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports.
